Stapleford Abbotts countryside provides the ideal location for a relaxing game of golf in tranquil surroundings. The Abbotts Course with its mature trees, plentiful water hazards and generous fairways will be a test for the proficient player yet enjoyable for the social golfer. The traditional, barn style clubhouse was constructed in the 17th century and offers panoramic views over the 18th green as well as providing an abundance of character and charm.
The Course: The original golf course was built over 20 years ago as a 9 hole parkland course in a traditional layout offering testing golf for all participants.
In 1989 an additional 9 holes were added and it now offers a well laid out variation of both traditional and new designs. The new holes have established themselves alongside the original course to offer a good test of golf in a relaxed environment.
