Summary

Puttenham is one of the oldest and finest golf clubs in the South East which was formed in 1894 by a group of Army Officers, Charterhouse School Masters and local businessmen. Whether it was a strategic military decision or just luck they chose well when deciding to build it on land that drained naturally. Puttenham is proud of it’s reputation as a one of the friendliest clubs in the south east. Our 18 hole tree lined course is both challenging and picturesque.

A well equipped professional’s shop offers buggy and trolley hire as well as up to the minute teaching technology from our two PGA trained professionals. There are practice facilities and a driving range. The Clubhouse offers a warm welcome, hearty home cooked meals which are prepared on site daily as well as a fully licensed bar where members and visitors alike can relax and discuss what might have been! .

Nestling in the foothills of the Hogs Back just off the A31 in Surrey, Puttenham Golf Club is only 10 minutes drive from the centres of Guildford, Farnham and Godalming. 15 minutes drive from Woking, Camberley, Pirbright, Worplesdon, Aldershot and Farnborough and only 35 miles from Central London

The Course

Puttenham’s 18-hole course measures 6,220 yards with a par of 71 from the white tees, 5784 yards with a par of 71 from the yellow tees and 5,400 yards with a par of 71 from the red (ladies) tees.
